Apply for the Wave of Support Leadership Academy!
The Wave of Support Leadership Academy brings together a cohort of first-year students to explore the connections between our leadership practice and the ways we care for ourselves, each other, and our communities. Participating students will learn about Emotionally Intelligent Leadership, the 8 Dimensions of Wellness, and campus resources that will support them throughout their time at Tulane. Through weekly meetings, an off-campus adventure, and the development of a spring project, students will gain new skills and put them into practice, all while making connections with students across campus.
Cohort Application Timeline
The application for our 2026-27 Wave of Support Leadership Academy cohort will open on Monday, August 17 and close on Monday, September 7. Regular meetings will take place on Mondays, 4:30 PM - 6 PM, throughout the fall and spring semesters.
Monday, August 17: Wave of Support Leadership Academy (WoSLA) application opens on WaveSync
Monday, August 31, 4:30 PM - 5 PM, LBC 210: WoSLA Info Session
Monday, September 7 @ 11:59 PM: Wave of Support Leadership Academy (WoSLA) application closes
Fall 2026 Meetings (every Monday, 4:30 PM - 6 PM): September 14, 22, 28; October 5, 12, 19, 26; November 2, 9, 16, 30 (No meeting on Monday, November 23)
Spring 2027 Meetings (every Monday, 4:30 PM - 6 PM): January 11, 25; February 1, 15, 23; March 1, 8, 15, 29; April 5, 12, 19, 26 (No meetings February 8 or March 22)
